The CH on the price label (and the Swiss flag on the package) and the Bio on the package.
Both work as a multiplier
Just so you know, Knospe amd Bio are pabels that belong to someone…Knospe belongs to coop, the farmers pay for it, they get a bit extra for their produce but, not the extra the customers pay for it. It’s like a multiplicator for them, ez 250% markup or more.
Capitalism.
Schweizer Qualitat!
Well someone pays for it. You‘re not forced to tho.
Rich SP voters will buy them.
Usury.
Swiss products are cheaper outside of Switzerland, you just get the privilege to pay more because of cartel behavior.
People seem to not understand that shops should charge the highest price that has the product bought at a reasonable rate compared to the stock and shelf space. If it sells fast enough at 13.40, why should they charge 13.30, or 6.00?
Steep license payments to the patent holder, Mr Bircher from Aarau.
Brother, may i have some oats?
Because a fool is born every minute…
Damit:
Philipp Wyss hat Ende Jahr mehr in seiner Hosentasche.
Go to Lidl or Aldi.
Hit a “High Protein” sticker on it as well and sell it for 15.40 CHF.
Just buy 500 grams organic oats for CHF 1.30 a fresh organic apple for CHF 1.00, and a liter of organic milk for CHF 1.90
And I bet it tastes like cardboard like all ”bio” shit
Because someone out there buys it.
Greed
Not a single objective answer here. It would be interesting to see a full comparison between this and a no-name equivalent, or to see how this compares to making the same myself with each raw ingredient bought separately from Aligro..
Just get the Prix Garantie stuff and dried fruits you like, mix, and store. Done. Price cut by 70%.
It’s moneeeeeeey and people buy it…
Bio plus Swiss Flag, guaranteed ripoff
lmfao
that’s why I go to Lidl and Aldi
fuck Coop and Migros honestly
Wanting to keep the profits while we’re leaving the era of easily accessible fossil fuel, that enabled this “cheap” lifestyle.
Ah, sry, we’re talking in silo to distract ourselves from the system failing.
Base price : CHF 6.45. 20% surcharge for the word Bio. 20% surcharge for the word Schweizer. 20% surcharge for the label naturaplan. 20% surcharge for the “ohne Zuckerzusatz”. **Q.E.D.**
Inflatulation
the rationale is exploiting stupid people with a lot of money (not earned)
They usually don’t put labels on ridiculously expensive products. I am surprised it is there. Although people might still confuse it for 6.80 chf one and buy it by mistake.
That’s normal in coop
Edit: nevermind, looked at the wrong Bio Campiuns product. That’s really quite expensive. There’s some rarer fruits in there, but it’s mostly oats.
It appears to be an error, they are CHF 2.25 (0.45/100g), cheaper than Knorr (0.49/100g) but more expensive than their full grain organic ones (0.34/100g):
Before drying, those fruits weighed 500kg, now it’s just 100g, okay?
This reminds me my arguments with my ex (swiss) 🤣
It’s solely because it’s sourced local.
I buy naturaplan often and they’re a very good bargain when they have naturaplan multipack thirty percent off. Cheapest organic coffee, chocolate, flours, yogurts, all of great quality!
Especially organic chocolate ohne emulsifiers, which is otherwise very difficult to find. Lots of organic stuff isn’t long lasting, so when it’s available in quantities and priced comparably – it’s an absolute joy!
OP buys Audemars Piget watches and is complaining about a bag of granola.
What a doofus…
Are you certain you‘re allowed to make a photo of that product? 🤣
In free markets prices are not set by the cost of production but rather by what people are willing to pay for something.
Most people today have no understanding of the cost of production versus market value of the different products in their lives (i.e. the benefit margins of different industries).

People are buying it at that price.

Many would buy even if the price is not shown.
