Prior to this, he had been doing his best whack-a-mole impression popping his head up in random spots across the field and always ducking the second I pressed record. But then he just decided to run straight towards me.

I am so jealous.
He’s like “why’s this hareless animal taking a picture of me?”
Reminds me of the Alan Partridge episode…

Love them
“Here. Hare. Here.”
Leapy boi!
I was out on my bike a few years ago and one came out of a hedgerow and ran just in front of me for a bit, it happily bounced along at 15-16mph, then realised I was there and vaulted off into the distance, they move like they’re made of springs.
Beautiful.
One of my favourite encounters with a hare was when I was cycling beside some fields and a hare ran alongside me for a few tens of meters. Its beautiful to see them run, and breath-taking how they can accelerate away from you and simultaneously change direction on a sixpence.
Wow, what an incredible moment OP. As a wildlife watcher i’m very envious!
The tortuous might be somewhere behind
Cool animals. They feel a bit supernatural, like magpies and robins and stags. The only time I remember seeing them was around Stonehenge, where there were loads of them running about.
Beautiful, they’re lovely creatures.
I managed to capture this handsome chap when I took my mum to visit our ancestors’ war graves in northern France.

Come visit rural New Zealand, there an absolute pest here… I was really surprised to find out how few of them are seen in the UK.
He’s very bouncy
Low tech GeoGuessr… is this Suffolk?
Awww I love all things rabbit and hare’s . I would have loved to see a hare that close. Loved seeing him hop through the grass there.
Don’t know if it was do much a pose and more of a “fuck, where did you come from!” *Zoooom*
Bright eyes, burning like fire….
Run away!
Very nice! I like to sit on a blanket, on the border of a field like this and watch animals, like rabbits, hares and variety of birds. It has a calming effect on me.
He took a moment to process what he was seeing 😂

Hello.
Oh that’s really something! What a great video.
I had one visit from a field nearby at a previous house, we had rabbits in big runs in the garden and the hare would go nuts around them.
My knowledge on hares and their rarity is quite lacking, is this a really uncommon thing to get on video? I have a similar video a few weeks ago and I’m quite surprised by the comments haha.
