1. No one gives a toss about her affections. It’s about paying her dues.

2. Interesting that he’s taking the line that his wife’s country is India even though she’s been living in the UK for well over a decade and both their children are born and raised here as UK citizens.

3. This a funny one.

   Untill recently they both held onto US Green Cards which meant that they viewed the USA as their permanent residency.

   So much for loving their country bollocks.

4. Sunak has only been in parliament for 7 years and became chancellor just as the Covid crisis was taking off. Nobody was truly interested in scrutinising him then, everybody was preoccupied with the pandemic. He started giving out freebies here, there and everywhere and of course that made him popular. So really, this is the first time he is getting any real scrutiny and all he’s done is whine about it not being fair. The attacks coming his way should have been predictable and with his leadership ambitions they should have taken steps to mitigate the damage. He’s clearly not the astute potential future PM I had hoped for, I’m disappointed to be honest because I had high hopes for him particularly as he largely managed to keep himself out of controversies including Partygate.

   If you’re not prepared to get into the rough and tumble of it all then maybe politics at the highest level isn’t for you.
