  1. Forgive my ignorance, but does towed artillery not typically scoot after shooting?

  2. You might think this farmer is stupid and taking an unnecessary risk but you would be wrong, this is calculated, the farmer knows Russia likes to target civilians and civilian infrastructure so he is in fact reducing his risk by doing farm work when there is a higher priority target around

  3. The war in Ukraine is absolutely insane. You can be having dinner in a restaurant then 40 min later be on the front. People try and live as normal of a lifestyle as possible given the circumstances, yet the combine in this video is a great representation of the reality of the situation.

  4. Yesterday on the news, they showed a bombed out town and frontline fighting in the town. Meanwhile, like 300 yards away, there was a farmer driving his tilling machine prepping the field in the foreground. Looked SO surreal.

  5. Zero fucks given.

“I’ll plough my land, whoever I pay taxes to. Whoever wins, let me know where to send the cheque. “

  6. crops ain’t gonna pick themselves.

amd since the drone guys have gotten so good at blowing up Russian material- the odds of a farmer finding a towable piece of armor to turn on for the bounty just keeps falling. so it’s back to working tje fields

and John deere should have developed a combine with de-mining capabilities by now.
