  1. The comet is Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) which appeared late 2024. It is a long-period comet from the Oort Cloud (a huge cloud of icy objects believed to surround our solar system). You might also be able to notice a faint ‘anti-tail’ stretching down to the pier in the opposite direction of the comet’s main tail. 🌠

I also have some other photos and a video of a few Brighton based seagulls flying around the comet [on my instagram if you want to check it out](https://www.instagram.com/p/DJ4nfrEo0W8/?img_index=1)

  2. Out of curiosity I just looked up comet anti tail on Wikipedia and I still can’t understand it.

  3. I looks like a pinole in the fabric of the sky with light shining through

  4. What are the lights on the horizon? I’m assuming you’re too low down to be able to see France

  5. Atari Missle Command when you get a hit in a city that has already been nuked.

  6. Shit bro this photo knocks every fucking shot I’ve ever taken in Brighton out the water
