  1. Amazing how he never shows up because he’s too busy *not* representing his constituents.

  2. tbh I much prefer him out of the country than in it. Perhaps we could club together and offer to pay for him to stay away permanently?

  3. Lazy grifting frog faced skiver can’t even be bothered to turn up for his specialist subject.

  4. Of course he missed it. Just like he’s swerved every question on the subject since. He’s not really a ‘being held to account’ kind of guy after all – just breezes through life causing chaos without remorse like privileged idiots always do.

  5. Isn’t this just completely on brand for him?

I’m sure his supporters will excuse this, assuming they can read.

  6. Just like he used to skip EU fisheries debates and votes when he was on the committee, then rile up the fishing industry over anti-British decisions.

  7. Man who has spent his life criticising migrants and Europeans missed key debate on EU deal because he was…Emigrating to France for a few weeks of holiday.

Same man who migrated to Australia for three weeks of work to eat animal genitalia.

He’s a two-faced grifter who only remains popular because of how many billionaires are bankrolling him and because the MSM still treat him as a celebrity and not as a politician.

  8. This is why I genuinely don’t believe he has any intention of being PM. His ego will be loving the polls at the minute but he just wouldn’t be able to do the work required. He’d actually have to do the work rather than giving soundbites

  9. >His holiday takes place while the Commons is sitting, despite the fact that the chamber goes into recess from Thursday, and does not sit all of next week.

So surely he’ll be spending next week attending to his constituents in Clacton, right?

  10. Mr Brexit himself couldn’t be bothered to turn up to sort out Brexit.

I hate how people call him their champion, because he is a fucking grifter who needs to fuck off out of our country.

  11. He deserves to be praised for being a genius being able to grift and go on holidays while still getting a ton of support is a great skill

  12. Wonder how the people of Clacton on Sea feel about this

  13. It is common knowledge, well to those with at least half a brain, that he does not care about this country.

  14. of course he fucking did.

doesn’t bother showing up for something to do with the total clusterfuck he’s responsible for.

just like he never bothered showing up for the fisheries committee in the EU – despite pretending to give a shit about UK fishing.

remember that? when he and all the right wingers suddenly became experts on fisheries……?

  15. Tf will he do if he actually becomes Leader of the Opposition or (God forbid) PM, and actually has to turn up for a day’s work?

  16. I mean Parliament is in recess next week. He could even hold off another week for his jollies

  17. Won’t he take credit for any success Labour get and just say “I knew it would lead to this”

  18. Like he missed 41 of 42 meetings of the EU fisheries committee when he was the British representative on it as an MEP. This makes at least some of the problems and dysfunction around UK fisheries and the EU his fault.

Yet he still had the brass neck to slam the deal with the EU yesterday. Absolute arsehold of the highest order of arseholes.

  19. Reform UK have no dog in the fight when it comes to Brexit. That’s way too much real politics for Farage these days. He just wants to bark about immigration now and grift his way to becoming the official opposition and getting real access to lobbyists and their millions

  20. Hes spent more time i America than his own damn constituency lol.

Yet people will vote him im again

  21. Hopefully this is a chink in the armour among his supporters. I’d have thought they’d want him there making their voices heard against this ‘Brexit betrayal’.

  22. Farage is such a patriot he bet against the pound in the run up to Brexit and boasted how much money he made from it while working people lost their livelihoods

  23. I wish someone would say this to the likes of Lee Anderson or Richard Tice when they are accusing local government workers who work from home of being lazy and not doing their jobs and demand that they need to “turn up for work”

Remind them of their boss’s record of turning up for work leaves a lot to be desired.

  24. I can’t for life of me believe people think this guy is their true saviour in waiting.

  25. In my head the title read nigel farage misses brexit reset debate because he’s a big stinky poo. That is all.

  26. Come on Nigel!, You are to be the next leader of the UK so get your act together,

  27. He always disappears when the people who support him need his voice. Clacton could be on fire and he would be busy waist deep in Trump’s asshole.

  28. Guess his pay masters told him to swerve this one then

  29. Why does it feel like all this relentless grifter has to do over the next three/ four years is NOT DIE and he’ll get handed the role of Prime Minister?

  30. Nigel knows too well about missing meetings and debates as an MEP; he only turned up to one of 42 EU fisheries committee meetings.

  31. I mean if I was MP for Clacton I would take as many holiday’s as possible and avoid the place like the plague.

I can guess that Clacton is a utter shithole and filled with complete morons considering how often they have been taken for a ride by Farage

  32. Can a guy never take a vacation? Sure it’s bad timing but I’m sure he wouldn’t have booked if he’d known.

Everyone is entitled to time off.

  33. Dont MPs get a full summer break to holiday in? plus recesses at several times per year.

why is he holidaying when parliament is sitting?

teachers dont get to holiday in term time.

  34. He will still become PM because Labour is not getting any results that people can feel in their day to day life. (Nor will Farage, the man is a grifter)

  35. He doesnt give a fuck, and his supporters likely just find it funny that he is so disrespectful all the time and like him even more for it.

  36. So he only likes foreign stuff so long as it benefits him somehow…

  37. This really pathetic.

MPs go on holiday and they minority party.

The left really desperate for attach lines.

  38. Even if he wasn’t, he still wouldn’t bother attending and claim he wasn’t invited or complain about it being rigged or other crap.

That and he can rile up his grift.. i mean, idiot… i mean, income via bringing it up, claim that if he was in charge, he could have a more open debate etc…

  39. It was never about the actual issue.

It was about riling up your base about some nebulous issue to propel you into power.

There was never an upside to Brexit.

  40. Don’t MPs get a long summer break from Parliament to go on holiday?

  41. Is his holiday cave diving Trump’s anus or as a doormat for Putin?

  42. I can respect that in the sense that Brexit reset debates are a waste of time. Can’t put pandora back in the box.

  43. Oh yes let’s blame Farage’s personal holiday for Starmer’s piss poor negotiation that screwed over our fisherman

  44. Difficult to find the time for a holiday with 10 jobs, let alone turn up at your constituency.

  45. A nationalist who loves this country, but does everything he can to avoid being here. Kinda like a deadbeat dad who claims to do everything for his kids, but only bothers to show up for them once every couple of months.

  46. Lefties be like….

“oh look farage faded wtf, what a grifter, wah wah, brexit, racist, wah”

  47. such a joke! but he will most likely be next PM , bookies were giving ridiculous odds on him being PM by 2030 should have taken a punt.
