I drove to work from Turnhout to Brussels for over 10 years for different projects. So having to make my way through both the ring of Antwerp and the ring of Brussels. I still panic a bit by even thinking of having to drive there ever again. By the end I was leaving home at half past 5 and getting back home around 17pm but could be as early as 16:00 or as late as 19:00… not being able to commit to any social events because I didn’t know if I could make it and I was to tired anyway.
