Something is definitely wrong with Trump. He’s always been an entitled, ill informed jerk. But he has definitely declined. It’s not just that he has surrounded himself with people who say what he wants.
Trump hasn’t been able to speak coherently for years now.
Biden still can, he just had a really bad debate night. He’s given numerous coherent and well-informed interviews and speeches since that disastrous night.
Without even watching Fox “news”, I can tell what the talking points for the week are just by following what social media is talking about and other media headlines.
Apparently the talking point this week is that Biden was a terrible president that everyone, especially Democrats, really hate because…let me check my notes….after retiring from politics, he has been diagnosed with cancer. Let’s all be outraged and distracted Biden’s horrible behavior while the Republicans vote for tax reductions for the rich and the gutting of Medicaid.
Trump looks like he’s declining daily. Every daily photo I see of him he looks progressively worse. What are Republicans hiding?

This morning my spouse had on the CBS morning show. As soon as Tony Dokoupil started a story about questions about Biden’s health before he left office, I started yelling at the tv. How about we pay attention to the fascist in office and the end of democracy, Tony??
It’s OK to be mad at Democrats for bungling so poorly, but at a certain point we’re going to have to refocus our attention, and yes, acknowledge that the CURRENT president made vague threats toward famous rock star Bruce Springsteen at 1 am, and that this is fairly normal behavior for him.
The same forces that consistently day after day normalized trump and made his actions seem “strategic” now want to wash their hands of it and say that biden caused this. I will not let them. Trump may like to completely avoid accountability but you should not.

And if we are going to focus on one mentally declining president and how that might damage the country, I’d focus on Trump’s current and intentional damage or Reagan’s lasting damage from prioritizing American polices to favor the rich at the expense of the lower and middle class.
