It’s so frustrating, I thought the US were slowly starting to realise that their plan of ending the war was not going to work.
What an utter morron Trump is. Russia has no intention on stopping this war. The only way to end this is by empowering Ukraine to be strong enough to wipe those Z’s off their land.
Putin apparently promised Trump that he will put his terms on paper. Once he does, Zelenskyy, Starmer, Macron, Mertz, Tusk, and Stubb should immediately fly to DC and corner Trump.

I’m shocked, that any European leader is surprised by anything Trump says or does. He has been fully transparent about his wholesale corrupt and heinous character and he demonstrates continously, that he admires and has more in common with the dictators of this world. Are they waiting for the famous Trump pivot, where he magically develops empathy and intelligence by sitting in the Oval Office, eating reheated McDonald’s and signing his dumbass big autograph on documents, he can’t read, because he thinks reading glasses are low energy and his reading level makes The Cat in the Hat a struggle. Sigh.
The only way is for Europe and Ukraine to arm themselves to the teeth. Create a military that’s not reliant on America and moreover, build a military from European material where at all possible. The US makes trillions of dollars from sales of uts hardware and software, yet when we ask them to stand with us, they last a couple of years and get board. Its time for us to ramp up in every way we can.

Time for decisions no one wants to make, Russia has lost 950,000 people, you’ll be adding another million from Russia very soon and europeans as well. I personally cannot see any other way out of Russia’s expansionism.

How can they be stunned? Don’t they realise Trump doesn’t care for Europe or any political leader from the EU? Everytime they react but can’t seem to grasp that Trump likes Putin, he considers them to be friends. Trump wants Putin to succeed.
He wants the war to end so he can visit Putin, have trade with Russia. Have phonecalls and talk shit about the EU. Trump wants his ol’ pal back. Ukraine is an obstacle to him and Putin again being friends.
Some people got excited when Trump and Zelensky had their meeting in the Vatican. But that was for show, a good photo op. Doesn’t matter what Zelensky says or proves, Trump does not care.
Trump doesn’t give a fuck for Ukraine or its people.
There is only one reason Trump is even trying to end the conflict.
He knows that he and his mega-rich friends will be able to make many $billions from the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
AND they will also be able to, again, trade with Russia.
EVERYTHING he does is to enrich and empower himself and his oligarch friends.

Is russian market worth more to US than EU market?
EU should explain to Dump that US will lose EU market if he were to let Russia back in from the cold.
Same goes for those countries who currently trade with Russia, cut them out of EU market.
Yes, it will hurt EU financially but its a cost that will be magnitudes smaller than letting Putin back in from the cold.

My take on it as a lobbyist who deals with politicians is that the imperial dictator goal (likely Stephen Miller and the like pushing that mainly but Trump is all for it) of conquering greenland and canada and needing Russia empowered to the maximum to pull away European forces is actually interfering with the personal narcissist goal of pretending you are an important peacemaker worthy of a Nobel Prize (Bolton and others have specifically mentioned this wackadoo ambition of Trump’s).
This results in the absurdity of Stephen “I quote Putin lovingly to Putin like mein führer” Witkoff replacing Kellogg so that there is NO chance of peace breaking out and so Russia remains a maximum threat to Europe. BUT. Trump cannot let his Nobel ambitions go and keeps setting up these pointless talks. Partially, Trump does it this so that in the event of peace, he can claim all of the credit for it to the annoyance of the parties as in India/Pakistan. But let’s be clear, Trump is not so much a Putin asset as being fully a Putin himself. React accordingly. Impeach and remove.
Anyone who thinks Trump is a moron on this is wrong. Trump knows what he’s doing.

Europe keeps falling in the trap of American economic and military dependence. Then they forget everything bad Trump said or did as soon as he says something positive about them.
