Just under 900,000 viewers followed the final of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest live from Basel, Switzerland on SRF 1.
The German language Swiss broadcaster SRF has released the viewing figures for its three live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. The figures reported by SRF are the highest the broadcaster has seen in recent years, with the final recording an audience of 880,000 viewers with a market share of 57.5%, which is up over 200,000 viewers from 2024 and an increase in share by 4 percentage points.
The Semi-Finals also saw their viewing share increase year on year. Semi-Final One was followed by 411,000 viewers with 43.2% share, while Semi-Final Two was watched by 458,000 viewers with 44.9% share.
Switzerland was represented by Zoë Më by “Voyage”; she finished 10th in the Grand Final with 214 points. All of Switzerland’s points came from the jury with Switzerland receiving 12 points from Estonia, Poland and Spain.

Switzerland hosted the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 in Lugano, a contest that they also won. Lys Assia won the first contest with the song “Refrain”. It wasn’t until 1988 that Switzerland would win the contest again. Celine Dion won with “Ne partez pas sans moi” in Dublin, she beat the United Kingdom to victory by just 1 point. Switzerland won for a third time in 2024, represented by Nemo with “The Code”.
