Telia Norway is separating broadband and TV into a separate division to deliver better customer experiences and future growth. The company will also reduce its staff. It sees potential to develop the broadband and TV business by establishing a separate fixed network division. This will put more pressure on this area and the opportunity to work more holistically with the value chains. This will in turn contribute to better customer experiences, while the operator has a clear ambition to get back on track and take market share.
Telia Norge will simultaneously implement a staff reduction program to ensure more efficient operations and the necessary competitiveness. The organizational changes will result in a reduction in permanent staff of around 90 full-time equivalents. The reduction in staffing will be addressed by offering severance packages that will ensure financial security for those affected, as well as professional career advice. In addition to the reduction in permanent staff, there will be a natural attrition of employees who are not replaced and a significant reduction in the number of hired consultants.

We fully understand that this is a difficult message to receive for those affected, and we will do what we can to ensure that those affected receive good follow-up in the future and help to find new jobs.
