When i was 4 we moved to Norway, and stayed there for like 2-3 years, in the meantime met a lot of wonderful people! So this old lady was really welcoming to our family and helped us integrate quickly, long story short for 17th of May she made us the national clothes. With my Bunad, i had this pin/coin. Do people still have these, or was this costume made to fit the coin inside and wear it as a pin?

Using Google image search, it looks like a commemorative silver 10 krone that has been made into a broach.
I know those coins are used by Norwegian silver stackers almost like US collectors stack Constitutional Silver Coins. The 10 Kroner – Olav V Constitution Sesquicentennial is a 20 grams 90% silver coin.
Looks like the broach part is using the TH MARTHINSEN telemark silver cutlery pattern or similar.

It seems like the pattern is made of tin – pewter. Here is link to a sold one from a coin store. But with an additional chain.

I’ve never seen this before, thanks for sharing. I think it is a cool curiosity.
