Doesn’t look like a parking space, it looks like there’s supposed to be grass growing there, it just isn’t because people keep parking there. You aren’t allowed to park on verges/sidewalks.
To me it looks like it’s parked in the middle of a one-way street. Look how far off the curb it is.
If it doesn’t have the sign “Verkehrszeichen 315-66” you’re not allowed to park there.
quite sure the van isn’t allowed to park there either, so…
there’s a parking lot on the other side of revaler strasse anyway, so why not use this?
If you received a parking ticket, the reason is always stated on the ticket. However, I don’t see any reason why one shouldn’t park here. I would park there too.

My guess is that it’s not a street and you’re not allowed to park without a extra sign
