Another 20 companies have been selected for the CASSINI Business Accelerator program, an initiative of the European Commission (EC) and European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). It was an intense process with over 100 companies applying for the program. The CASSINI Business Accelerator, part of the broader CASSINI initiative, aims to boost the growth and market success of startups and scale-ups whose products and business models leverage EU space technologies.

The companies announced May 21 were 3L Robotics (Czech Republic), Altar Innovation (Portugal), ATMOS Space Cargo (Germany), Azimut Space (Germany), Cauis (Greece), Celtonn (Ireland), Constellation Technologies & Operations (France), Everimpact (France), Involve Space (Italy), Isaware (Finland), LMO (Luxembourg), Maana Electric (Luxembourg), MIPRONS (Italy), Needronix (Slovakia), Neuraspace (Portugal), OQ Technology (Luxembourg), ORUS (France), SatRev (Poland), Sensmetry (Lithuania) and Skynopy (France).

The companies, which are the fifth batch in the program, will follow a six-month program, running from June 2025 to November 2025. Throughout this journey, the CASSINI Business Accelerator will empower startups to scale their business development and sales with direct access to investor matchmaking and exclusive industry events, as well as expert-led training and mentoring.

The CASSINI Business Accelerator program is part of the European Commission’s CASSINI Initiative, designed to support the space ecosystem and investments. Launched in January 2023, the CASSINI Business Accelerator is the biggest space startup accelerator in Europe.

This program will provide us with invaluable resources and opportunities to scale our business, particularly in satellite connectivity, which is at the core of our mission to revolutionize global IoT communications,” Omar Qaise, CEO of OQ Technology, said in a statement.
