Vail Resorts (MTN) has announced the inclusion of the Austrian ski resorts Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun in its 2025/26 Epic Pass lineup. These additions mark the second Austrian destinations for the Epic Pass, enhancing Vail’s European portfolio alongside Ski Arlberg.

The Epic Pass, currently priced at $1,051 for adults and $537 for children, offers five days of access to these new destinations. A $49 down payment secures the pass, with the remaining balance due by mid-September. The deadline to buy at the lowest price and receive additional perks, such as two Buddy Tickets and six Ski With a Friend Tickets, is May 26, 2025.

Saalbach, known for its expansive ski terrain with over 165 miles of slopes, recently hosted the 2025 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. On the other hand, Kitzsteinhorn is noted for its high-altitude glacier, ensuring reliable snow conditions. These resorts cater to a variety of skiing levels and offer breathtaking alpine views.

This strategic expansion underscores Vail Resorts’ commitment to providing diverse and flexible skiing options to their pass holders, with the Epic Pass now featuring access to 37 North American mountain resorts as well.
