Does Kate Middleton have a soft spot for Prince Harry & Meghan Markle? The Princess of Wales turned heads when she made this act at her first garden party in a while.
At her first garden party in two years after her cancer diagnosis, Kate Middleton wore the same floral yellow Philip Treacy hat that she first sported at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding. The event also had coincidental timing since the day landed before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s seventh wedding anniversary. The Princess is known to rewear some of her signature looks, but the timing is quite questionable.
Prince Harry just made a bombshell interview with the BBC where he pleaded for reconciliation with his family on May 3, 2025. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore.”

“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” he said about his father who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. “He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.”
While the Royal family is indeed keeping mum about the situation in the public, his brother is reportedly seething in private. “William is furious that Harry’s speaking out again and doing interviews – he’s convinced this isn’t the end of it,” a source told RadarOnline.
“He’s made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them.” Though his wife might be a little open to the option of reconciling. “Kate’s deeply upset with Harry, but she’s also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly,” the source continued. “It’s heartbreaking for her to watch the family so publicly divided.”
“William doesn’t like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone,” the insider explained. “What he’s most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later – especially if there’s another book, or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story.”
