Zagreb Airport continues its upward trend in June, ranking as Croatia’s second busiest airport in the region in terms of scheduled seat capacity. A total of 574,280 seats are available on scheduled flights this coming month, representing a 12.2% increase compared to June last year.
Following a brief shift in rankings earlier this year, Croatia Airlines has reclaimed its position as the leading carrier at Zagreb Airport, now holding 34.4% of the total seat share. Ryanair, which had briefly overtaken the flag carrier, now accounts for 32%.
Both airlines are seeing year-on-year growth. Croatia Airlines has increased its capacity by 15.6%, while Ryanair’s seat offering has grown by 16.2%, indicating continued demand and competition on key domestic and international routes.
These figures reflect sustained recovery and expansion in Zagreb’s aviation market, supported by a mix of national and low-cost carriers responding to rising passenger demand ahead of the peak summer travel season.
