The royal couple starred as themselves in a celebratory programme marking the late Queen’s 70 years on the throne.
They joined the residents of Albert Square as they celebrated with a street party.
The scenes were filmed in March when the then Prince Charles and Camilla visited the Hertfordshire set of the long-running BBC One soap to meet the cast and crew.
Viewers had already seen Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer, decide to throw a Jubilee party for the Square, and in upcoming scenes, he teased some very special guests.
In the special episode, set to air on Thursday, June 2, the partygoers were in for a surprise as Mick and Linda greeted the then Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, introducing them to the residents of Albert Square.
