Trump claims gas costs $1.99 per gallon, becoming his newest unnecessary lie. This is not even close to being true. The average in the US is $3.18/gallon, and literally zero states have prices below $2.60. The president doesn’t have to lie about gas prices, but he apparently can’t help himself.

3. Over the last 30 days market gas got down to $2.01 at its lowest. Average is about $2.10. Same average since august.

4. He probably haa a bad memory? Or that’s the wholesale price without taxes

5. He only knows what his sychophants tell him. The only thing that he wants to be told is how great and profound he is. The result is the rapid failure of America from stupidity and corruption. I feel so sorry for the children that will have to deal with the scale of that failure for the rest of their lives.

6. The price he used was the wholesale price the distributors pay. This is before any additives, distribution and transportation and taxation. It was never the retail price consumer pays.

7. Not defending that cheeto at all, but I think the consensus was his sycophant advisors told him the RBOB NYH Unleaded futures contract was trading below 2.00 which was true. Obviously no consumer will see that price as it’s the wholesale price for just a single location.

   So much misinformation from this guy who doesn’t understand and have any ability to communicate useful information to the public.
