“We’re already at the limit” of a livable climate, warns Brazil’s Marina Silva. “Even if we can nullify deforestation, with climate change, if we don’t reduce carbon from fossil fuel emissions, the forest will be destroyed anyway.”

There is a fundamental misunderstanding when people say this sort of thing. They think they can halt the mechanisms of the global economy.
The momentum of global economics is not going to come to a grinding halt because you tell them we’re at the limit. There is no warning that will convince people to stop making money or trying to acquire more material wealth for themselves.
Tell your people in their country they have to live meager lives and that the opportunity of wealth is not afforded them because of ‘climate change’ and see how they turn their backs on you.
Exactly. So please stop deforestation.
Start reforestation.
I applaud her efforts, she is right that fossil fuel use needs to be stopped. Our greed needs to be stopped.
Wake up djt, the time is now to commit to reducing carbon emissions!
to bring fossil fuels down, massive global recession is needed
