>Dominic Lonchay, a councillor for the East Garioch ward in Aberdeenshire, announced on Thursday he would be joining Nigel Farage’s party, saying there were “many” reasons for the decision, including recently being “unable to influence the running of the council for the benefit of my constituents”.
>But it is understood Lonchay applied to be a candidate in 2026 but was rejected by the party.
Like Unionist rats fleeing sinking ships.
It’s the inshitifaction pipeline.
What if they were always Reform and they’re simply trying to infiltrate other parties.
They are both Tory parties. Reform is made of the worst of them.
Doesn’t make grade to be a horrible Tory, but really wants to espouse division and hatred and is welcomed with open arms by the Reform Party.
Voters switched to reform as tories not racist enough for them
Turds do in fact , roll downhill it is known
Reform lives rent free in some many people’s heads. The free marketing they are getting is priceless.

Surely he will have a similar issue influencing the running of the council as the rest of the council is still the same people he needs to persuade.
Looking at it reform has 3, now 4, councillors versus 22 tory, 18 SNP, 14 lib Dem and 12 other independents.
Not that surprising, the party is made up of Tory rejects
You are going to see a lot switching to Reform.
Cllr Thomas Kerr in Glasgow jumped ship to Reform because he was allegedly promised top choice on the List for Holyrood. He is virtually guaranteed a seat.
