Video shows drone helping rescue girl caught in riptide
New video out of Florida shows a drone actually helping to rescue a girl caught in a rip tide. Three girls were swimming in the ocean when one got pulled into that tide. Fortunately, somebody on the beach happened to have a drone with him. He grabbed a float and flew it out to the girl where she was able to cling on to it until a rescue team got to her. really just incredible.

Sweet man ❤
For those that have experience with drones, that's got to be a pretty big drone, right? What kind of drone could handle the weight of a person like that? Not a hobby drone right?
She was very lucky that guy was there. ❤
Brilliant concept to save her life …l hope this becomes
Brilliant use of technology
Finally good news coming out of Florida!
Many years ago lifeguards on the beach were showing how they were going to start using drones to send out to people in the middle of the ocean and it was a great idea, but they never did it
I don't know why they never did it
They should all have drones
Drones are much faster than people
This concept is a few years old. Not sure why folks are pretending this is "revolutionary" lol
What model drone is that!?
It must have been her angel 😇❤
All beaches should have signs with pictures detailing how to swim parallel to the beach and exit the riptide.
NBC kiss my red white and blue.
That"s Why Id Never Swim In Any Ocean! And Of Course For Other Reasons, Sharks???
Technology can do wonders
Quick thinking!
Amazing that people go in the ocean not knowing to swim sideways if being pulled out.
Smooth move!!!
AMEN ❤️ 🙏 ❤️
Quick thinking
I love how the drone's owner doesn't hesitate to help even though he might scrifice his drone if it's pulled into the water with the float attached. He only cares that she's safe! That's the loving way humans should act toward each other!! Too many people will not sacrifice. Good man!
Thank God it wasn't a Ukrainian drone😅
It’s very important to take beach flags seriously. You never know what can happen. This girl was very lucky
Someone on the beach? Could just as easily been some Chinese guy in Hong Kong.
Too Turnt Tony out here saving ppl
There goes the lifeguard position
And women say why do they need men🙄
Ungrateful idiots they are👊🏾
You mean they can do things other than drop bombs on people??😮
Terrible parents 😂
👏👏👏 Now, this is what technology should be used for! Bravo👏
Kudos to the drone owner. Quick thinking.
Butterfly effect. Thus could’ve ended much worse if that bystander hadn’t been there!
I feel like this should be put as standard life guard equipment. It’s much faster and safer. Everything is always safer when there isn’t a rush
That should set a precedent where they have drones on every single beach. That is a great great response.
🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️💯 Hero ?? 👍👍👍😎
Lifeguarding associating need to utilize this for usage swimming/boating conditions. It will save rescuer’s lives as well. It’s brilliant.
Florida Man redeems himself
