New video out of Florida shows a drone actually helping to rescue a girl caught in a rip tide. Three girls were swimming in the ocean when one got pulled into that tide. Fortunately, somebody on the beach happened to have a drone with him. He grabbed a float and flew it out to the girl where she was able to cling on to it until a rescue team got to her. really just incredible.

  1. For those that have experience with drones, that's got to be a pretty big drone, right? What kind of drone could handle the weight of a person like that? Not a hobby drone right?

  2. Many years ago lifeguards on the beach were showing how they were going to start using drones to send out to people in the middle of the ocean and it was a great idea, but they never did it
I don't know why they never did it
    They should all have drones
Drones are much faster than people

  3. I love how the drone's owner doesn't hesitate to help even though he might scrifice his drone if it's pulled into the water with the float attached. He only cares that she's safe! That's the loving way humans should act toward each other!! Too many people will not sacrifice. Good man!

  4. I feel like this should be put as standard life guard equipment. It’s much faster and safer. Everything is always safer when there isn’t a rush

  5. Lifeguarding associating need to utilize this for usage swimming/boating conditions. It will save rescuer’s lives as well. It’s brilliant.
