No, not at all. In a feudal society, the barrier to ”become something” is artificial. In capitalism, the barrier does exist in many cases, but it’s not arbitrarily set. The basket weaver can sell the baskets for a profit, invest the profit into more basket weaving and run a company.
I do agree, just like medieval times, the bankers are the kings and the CEO’s are the lords/dukes
