  1. “her conservative colleagues”?

Bullshit, in enabling people like Trump, they’re the terrorists that “conservatives” have long seen in any who dare to oppose them.

  2. The only thing more embarrassing than this judicial clusterfuck is the laughable pretense they’re actually deliberating anything. Kagan’s dissent is a desperate flare shot from the deck of a sinking ship piloted by bootlicking morons.

  3. There’s some quote about watering a tree that the right loves… I’m sure they’re all about that with our God emperor

  4. I’m admittedly let’s say…. undereducated when it comes to these types of things. That said, could someone tell why this is the end of our world (which I assumed died Nov.7, 2023)?

  5. “Supreme Court Kills The Independent Agency. Trump Is King” The conversion from a mostly partisan SCOTUS to unelected domestic terrorists in robes is all but complete.

  6. Setting aside the blatantly fabricated rulings of this court:

We’ve been skating by on good faith interpretations of the laws for long cycles of American history.

A frustrating theme of recent rulings, including lower courts, is they’re forced to acknowledge semantic word play, grammar usage, or a condition that wasn’t in the law because no one assumed it was even necessary.

It’s like a predatory ‘didn’t read the EULA correctly suckers’ without a good faith rejection of the manipulation.

  7. Rubber stamping executive decisions while simultaneously passing on deciding other executive actions that are questionable at the least is not a far distance from a dissolved court.

*The muscles are flinching but that’s not life in the body*

  8. Trump taking over the Fed if successful will be the beginning of the end of the dollar as reserve currency. The feds independence and stewardship of the economy is why the USA has been so successful in attracting investment. Trump with his radical policies basically being in charge of the Fed will not sit well with investors.

  9. America has no kings. This “revolution” **(COUP)** will not be bloodless

  10. If he’s a king, I’m sure France can let us borrow some of their shiny, sharp hardware.

  11. I wonder how long before he starts wearing an actual crown.

  12. Ya this is not good but pales in comparison to the provision in the Big Beautiful Bill (that just passed the House) that basically says the Executive Branch can essentially ignore contempts of court by the Judicial Branch. That is actually one of the last bastions of our checks & balances and is about to be quietly put down.

  13. These agencies should never have been put in the executive branch. The Constitution puts the laws in the hands of Congress. Administration of those laws should never have left the Legislative Branch.

  14. All that work to get to the supreme court…just to suck the cock of an old man.

Was it worth it conservative justices?

  15. Is Roberts going to be surprised again when Trump acts unhinged?

  16. This guy is a fucking cancer.

Nobody is coming to save us. The people who were supposed to defend our way of life have all surrendered.

The only thing that can rescue this republic now is *huge* masses of people, working together, in the streets.

  17. I’m sure the justices will rule the same way when there’s a democratic president, right?

  18. Turns out republicans are the ones who “legislate from the bench”

They decide cases based on desired outcomes and fabricate merits or create new law whole cloth from thin air.

Democrats MUST take notice. Power is to be used not rationed.

  19. What is the point of even having these agencies if they’re going to be independent in name only?

  20. It kills me that so called originalists don’t acknowledge precedent. How very liberal of these conservative judges.

  21. unitary executive for republican presidents, major question doctrine for democratic presidents

  22. The problem as it has always been, is heath care is tied to employment. We are hostage to our employers.

  23. I really hate headlines like this, and I think the media is complicit in “selling” dictatorship to the American people. No, Trump is not king. The American people can remove him, but it will become harder to do so, if the system continues to change.

  24. They’re arguably tossing out hundreds of years of progress to make a truly free nation into a nation where you can be quasi-free IF you play by their rules. The rules they have concocted from their own personal interests. They want to have ultimate say in the matter. Judge dredd comes to mind. As does Animal Farm.

  25. I can’t fucking wait for a Democrat to fire every damn Felon supporter once it comes around.

Then destroy red states by giving them nothing like they are doing to blue states now. FUCK THEM.

  26. Fed is a special independent government agency because the court says we can’t fuck with rich people’s money.

  27. Fuck this clickbait title and bullshit. No kings. Keep fighting. Fuck the doomerism.

  28. Remember in back to the future when Biff got rich? Where’s our Marty?

  29. They’re really going to regret this shit when they lose power. And they will lose power.

  30. I take solace in the fact that Trump is old and not long for this world, and the MAGA cult dies with him.

  31. I truly sympathize with all my fellow Americans who literally can’t afford to go out during the week and protest as vociferously as the French, but the fact is the powers that be do not care about 1 day protests on a weekend. I don’t know what it will take but until a general strike happens and hurts the owner class in their wallet the fascism will continue unabated. These assholes already don’t care about your plight and only understand one language, that of them being monetarily affected. It’s already been proven that Congress is only truly effective at passing legislation the owner class desires they couldn’t give two shits what we want, unless we change the dynamic and MAKE them listen.

  32. Way to go! The conservatives have successfully anointed _the most objectively immoral, and unintelligent President in the history of the Republic_. You’ve won. Rename it to Trumpistan, because this ain’t America no more. Enjoy your country while it lasts, which I suspect won’t be long.

Each and every one of you that voted for this has a level of incuriosity and Dunning-Kruger that can only be fixed by hitting rock bottom, sadly. We’ll be on the receiving end of Allied Forces before most of y’all decide to think critically rather than indulge in conspiracy.

Watching that abomination of a meeting with South African leaders it suddenly dawned on me, my country will perform a genocide of its own. There’s simply no ability for these people to discern fact from fiction, Congo from South Africa, lies from truth.

I was born in this country. I’ll always love what America originally stood for: Liberty, human dignity. I’ve come to accept that country is gone for the time being. Rock bottom is when you decide to stop digging, and we’re just not ready to put the shovel away.

  33. Well then. We the People need to get off our asses and tell the new King to *Fuck. Off.*

  34. How much longer until we reach a breaking point and have a revolution that rids us of these overconfident curs? They are dismantling our government on both the foreign and domestic stage, and no one is stopping them.

There will be a reckoning for this, and it will not be pretty.

  35. It’s weird. When a Democrat is President the Supreme Court rules they can’t do anything. When a Republican is President they rule they can whatever they want

  36. waiting for the inevitable article explaining how this is really the fault of the democrats lmao
