I wish we in Spain would celebrate the accomplishments of peninsular Arabs, amazighs, and Jews. Some of Islam’s greatest philosophers, writers and theologians were from Al-Andalus.
Then again, it would be hypocritical of us, wouldn’t it be? Since we did very much kick them all out.
Beni Rushd
If you know you know
Al-Andalus was a place of tolerance and learning in Medieval Europe, and very much part of the rich legacy of the Iberian Peninsula. We are descendants of muslims, jews and christians.
Se parece a mi tío Paco
