Do ratings agencies have any validity after being exposed as puppets following the financial crash of 2007/2008? Much as I’d like to believe it this just comes across as a US propaganda position.

No, there is no way in hell, a country with 800 Billion dollars of reserve, ‘default’ while they are getting paid billions in petroleum around the world, every day.
