Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ passes in the House

Elon Musk has left the White House. Meanwhile, House Republicans approved President Donald Trump’s sprawling tax and immigration agenda Thursday morning, sending to the Senate legislation that the GOP hopes will transform the federal government and the economy and power the White House’s drive to deport immigrants and build up the military.

Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, as the measure is formally known, extends trillions of dollars in tax cuts from his first term along with new campaign promises — including no taxes on tips and overtime wages — and hundreds of billions of dollars in new spending.

But the legislation, which passed 215-214-1 after marathon talks, carries a hefty price tag. The latest projection from the Congressional Budget Office, lawmakers’ nonpartisan bookkeeper, showed it will add $2.4 trillion over 10 years to the national debt, which already exceeds $36 trillion.

Well, it doesn’t really matter on how popular one is if you just get shit done which Elon did he got a whole bunch of shit done a lot of people at the White House didn’t really like them because there’s potential that they would be uncovered and be terminated for fraud. There’s so much fraud that goes around in the government. Let it astronomical you’re telling me I pay taxes and I can’t drive on one of our main roads because it’s full of potholes and have to wait seven years for them to redo the road or to fill in a pothole. No, that’s true corruption.

  16. I'm annoyed he didn't point out the fact that the $55 billion figure is outright lying, and DOGE's own financials shows that at MOST they save less than 10 billion

  20. 2.4 trillion in ten years is nothing compared to the 2.4 trillion per year.

    Balancing the budget is near impossible with how the government spends money.

  29. Thats what I never understood as a bystander, doge killed jobs that make people jobless so the goverment can pay them money for being unemployed and that also weakens the economy and it "only" saves 55bil
    meanwhile the Us needs to get it's shit together,save Trillions ,make more jobs, make certain laws different that would instantly boost the economy but whats stopping them since the 90s is Presidents that just want war,oil and bribe money 😅
