Trump Declared an Energy Emergency. Now He’s Creating One. When Trump declared this “emergency” US oil & gas production was at an all-time high, the cost of renewables was down and there was no shortage. Ironically, it now appears that Trump could be creating the very shortage he sought to avoid.

  3. You create a crisis and then prop up your version of the “solution.” Whats so hard to understand? Its how every policy has been put forward in the last 5 months.

    I’m yet to see any benefit from this administration coming to power. All the benefits are concentrated to the select few billionaires and ass kissing knee bending politicians (see the group that went to Saudi – how tf is that uplifting the ppl? Also see all the shadow crypto deals this guys facilitating. Those are fine, bUt HuNTrr BIdeN).

    It really is unfortunate that the US didnt elect a better administration.

    Unless his goal was to actually create that shortage. That’s what he does – creates a crisis, then reverse what he did so he can claim he fixed a massive problem, but leaves out the important part – he created the problem in the first place.

  12. Another headline that gets Trump wrong. He’s not seeking to avoid an energy shortage, lol. There is no good faith intention in this action. He’s faking an emergency to increase profits of the fossil fuel companies and hurt renewable companies. 

  13. How can he cancel funding from a bill passed through congress. How does that make sense at all? I can see EOs being easy to circumvent but a bill? What is going on???

  17. In the absence of self reflection, unintended side effects take over. This one, as many others, will affect the home markets, unfortunately. 

    We thank him however, for the unintended effects abroad, like the demise of far right political parties and a unity never seen before in the EU.

    We also thank him for the all time low gas prices at the pumps here in the EU, and the predictions are, prices will drop even more.

    He has the mierdas touch.
