Man, mother of 6 found dead inside homeless encampment in Westlake
A gruesome and heartbreaking discovery. A daughter finds her mother dead inside this tent on Huntley Drive in the Westlake area. This video posted to Instagram shows the daughter and her brothers screaming and crying. And I definitely feel for the daughter cuz I saw her very emotional throughout the whole ordeal. So people who live nearby the encampment say the daughter had been looking for her mother for a few days. The tent they say was locked and the daughter had to rip her way in and found her mother and another man dead. Dogs inside the tent were eating the bodies. The woman was identified as 46-year-old Lucia Masias Barahas. Her family started a fundraiser for her funeral and says she was a mother of six and a veteran who served in the US Army.
A gruesome discovery in Westlake is under investigation after a man and a woman were found dead inside an encampment tent on Monday.
People who live near the encampment say the woman’s daughter had been looking for her mother for a few days.
