Dover needs to go. Demolish it to make a lorry park so we can give them the brexit they voted for. I’ll personally pay the £1 in fair compensation to each brexit voter living there. Now start the bulldozers, brexit delayed is brexit denied!
Whilst Brexit undoubtedly is a contributing factor the current mess is largely caused by P&O suspending all passenger and freight sailings from Dover including to France and Ireland. The Guardian has an article on this.
Perhaps it’s all the Cities Skylines I’ve been playing, but have they tried using roundabouts, more ports and cargo options?

I say move Dover to the Thames estuary. Wasn’t it Boris who wanted to move Heathrow the Thames estuary and build a new airport on top of a sunken WW2 ship full of tons of unstable explosives. What a great idea !…but only if you’re a complete fucking idiot, which or course, Boris is.
