15. One way, the us has soft power is by inviting royalty and future potential political figures to the us for study and feeling one of them. The current us government is destroying that without realizing they will no longer look favorably to the us which has long term implications.

24. I’m an American and if given a chance to study in Europe or Harvard, I’d go to Europe.

    The English and European universities should do very well out of this move by Trump.

    Transferring to another US university might mean just waiting for the same issue to arise so, might be better to look elsewhere entirely.

26. How do these rich people ALWAYS get into a ivy. Ik they donate a lot of money and all but it’s so fucking depressing man. On one end there are genuine deserving people who pour their heart in sop, work their ass off at work/internship, get perfect gpa, get LORs, get extra co curriculuar achievements, participate and win in sports, have won math Olympiads, have well defined aims and what not. Yet get rejected. And on the other end some rich A holes who don’t deserve to be there, they get easily get selected. I’m not trying to say this person is like that..Maybe she really is there with her achievements but I was speaking on general terms.
