  14. Companies don’t pay tariffs. They either eat the tariff or pass it along to the buyer. Now if Trump is going to dictate iPhone prices – so the tariff can’t be passed along- that is a socialist act more in keeping with China … wait, China has embraced the free market parts of capitalism. So, this act would be more like North Korea??????

  25. So even the idiots in this administration know that Apple can’t just start making phones here tomorrow. It would take years and still cost more than even 100% tariffs. What this tells me is that Apple said no to some other request by the administration, likely a request to violate user privacy/existing laws in some grotesque way, and this is the price for denying said request.
