  1. If you want to make change Nancy, take you’re crew and fuck off so new blood can come in.

  2. A few outliers aside, *most* Republicans have fooled their voters into believing that Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” favors the working class. They point to select provisions like “no tax on tips” as evidence of this; distracting their followers from the fact that they’re being robbed blind by everything else in the bill.

Just like Trump’s brand of “populism” is really a cover for his authoritarian and kleptocratic agenda, policies like these act as smokescreens that obscure a broader effort to redistribute wealth to the top.

To illustrate this, let’s go over Trump’s “big beautiful bill” and why it sucks.

But first, Republicans have actually named the legislation “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” a direct nod to Trump that is so shamelessly submissive it’s nauseating.

    **Tax Cuts**

Central to the bill is more than $5 trillion in tax cuts.

Republicans want to permanently extend Trump’s 2017 tax cuts that disproportionately benefited the wealthy and corporations.

To help pay for the loss in revenue, Republicans are repealing clean energy tax credits passed under Biden.

They have also proposed raising the SALT cap substantially; a controversial move that many argue reduces federal tax revenue and increases the deficit significantly. Some argue that raising the SALT cap can unfairly subsidize wealthier, high-tax states, but it can also unequally benefit rich taxpayers who are more likely to itemize their deductions.

The bill also issues a permanent exemption level of $15 million for the estate and gift tax, which primarily benefits wealthier individuals.

Republicans claim that this bill provides tax cuts for everyone, this is disingenuous.

The tax breaks and increases in standard deductions that *might* provide some benefit to lower income, working class Americans and seniors are only temporary, while the individual rate deductions and extensions from the 2017 tax bill, along with higher exemption levels for estate taxes will remain permanent.

In other words, while the bill may provide some tax relief for lower and middle class individuals, the majority of the tax benefits in the bill favor the rich and corporations.

The bill is expected to reduce federal tax revenue by $4.1 trillion and it is estimated to add more than $5 trillion to the nation’s deficit. The spending cuts in the bill will *not* offset these losses.

**Spending Cuts to healthcare and food assistance**

Republicans will be shifting the cost of programs like SNAP to the states and imposing work requirements for parents and older Americans applying for food assistance.

The bill requires that the states now shoulder a percentage of the cost of benefits and pay for a 50 percent increase in administrative costs.

The bill increases the age for work requirements to 64 and lowers the age a child must be for the parent to be exempt from work requirements.

The big beautiful bill includes nearly $800 billion in reduced spending for Medicaid. Republicans will be issuing new requirements for Medicaid while increasing the number of times an enrollee must verify their eligibility. The Bill also includes substantial cuts to subsidies provided by the ACA

Critics warn that these changes will cause millions of Americans to lose their healthcare and SNAP coverage.

These measures are expected to disproportionately impact lower income Americans, the disabled, seniors and children.

Republicans are also proposing restrictions on “risk coding” and marketing for Medicare Advantage plans.

Cuts here could lead to increased premiums and reduced benefits for seniors and can limit access to care, especially in underserved communities.

The bill also proposes cuts to various public health programs, which could lead to higher costs for prescription drugs and technologies.

Concerns have also been raised about a “most favored nation” prescription drug pricing model, which could limit drug availability.

    **Cuts to Veterans**

The big beautiful bill includes cuts to the VA and the Toxic Exposure Fund (TEF), which covers healthcare costs for veterans exposed to toxic substances like burn pits.

    **Cuts to Research**

The bill will include reductions in costs that go towards NIH funded research, which could end up halting progress on ongoing medical research projects like those focused on Alzheimer’s, cancer and heart disease. These cuts could disrupt developments in scientific research and innovation and lead to layoffs and fewer job opportunities in the research field.

    **No taxes on gun silencers**

The bill will eliminate a $200 tax on gun silencers which has been in place since 1934. This part of the bill is backed by the NRA, shocker.

The ramifications of this are concerning as “silencers make it more difficult to recognize the sound of gunfire and locate the source of gunshots, impairing the ability of law enforcement to respond to active shooters.”

    **Cuts to Planned Parenthood**

Republicans are also proposing eliminating Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood; restricting access to abortion, life saving treatments, cancer screenings, pap smears and birth control for millions of women.

    **Eliminating Tax Exempt Status**

The bill will allow the Trump administration to eliminate the tax exempt status of nonprofits that support “terrorism.” Why is this bad? Because it sets an arbitrary standard and allows the Trump admin to dictate what falls under the purview of “terrorism,” meaning that it will have the power to financially cripple any charities that advocate for issues that don’t align with the MAGA agenda.

    **Funding for Mass Deportations**

The bill will include $46.5 billion for Trump’s border wall. $4 billion to hire thousands of more immigration agents, and $2 billion for signing bonuses.

The bill also includes imposing a $1,000 fee on migrants seeking asylum.

Its stated goal is to remove 1 million immigrants per year and imprison 100,000 people in detention centers.

    **Pentagon and National Security funding**

The bill includes $150 billion for the Department of Defense and provides at least $25 billion for Trump’s so-called “Golden Dome for America,” an expensive and impractical missile defense shield project which is expected to cost a hell of a lot more.

This part of the bill also includes $21 billion to restock the country’s arsenal, $34 billion to improve the naval fleet, and $5 billion more for border security.

**Taxes on Universities and Changes to Student Loans**

Republicans expect to save over $300 billion by overhauling the student loan program. This will include replacing all current loan repayment systems with plans that are far less accommodating.

The bill will eliminate Biden era regulations that made it so borrowers could cancel their loans if they were defrauded by colleges.

There will also be a 21 percent tax increase on University endowments.

    **Drill, Baby Drill**

Republicans are pushing for more drilling and mining on public lands to increase revenue.

The bill allows for more leasing of public lands for drilling, mining and logging and expedites government approval for these projects.

Republicans are also cutting royalty fees once paid by companies to extract resources from the land; a Biden era measures that sought to address the US’s addiction to fossil fuels.

  3. So tired of the hundred year old do nothing Democrats. Think you did good work 20 years ago Nancy but now you need to fuck off and resign.

  4. It’s time to call it what it is, class warfare against the working class.

  5. Mr. Speaker, I served with Robin Hood. I knew Robin Hood. Robin Hood was a friend of mine. Mr. Speaker, you’re no Robin Hood.

  6. the better way of saying this: Republicans are kicking millions off healthcare to give the rich more money

  7. Yeah, but conservatives are too prideful to admit they put a felon up as president.

  8. She may be right, but good lord is she the wrong messenger. She’s too rich and too old to have any fucking idea what normal people think about or want.

Fuck off; go do your insider trading from somewhere else and let someone born since Pearl Harbor have a say. Is that too much to ask?

  9. I wonder which Hamilton scene she’ll have reenacted to really drill this point to Republicans.

  10. That’s rich coming from her.

She’s not wrong but she’s a symbol of what is the cause of this. Old politicians that put profiting from their status above anything. For her it was insider trading, for others it’s pleasing the tech bro billionaires funding them.

She and the other subscribers to their congress seats need to go.

  11. She is more than welcome to sponsor legislation to ban stock trading by government officials

  12. Please Nancy, please ban stock trading then <3

What’s that? Oh your net worth is almost half a billion by luck?

  13. “So, by taking countless campaign millions from the 1% donor class, I have proven for my entire career that I am fine with this…even though I am lying to you now for PR purposes. No one pays attention to our actions, only our words.” – Pelosi continued, under her breath

  14. “It’s not right to steal money from poor people through legislation.

You should do it through insider trading.”

  15. You know what though? Fuck Nancy Pelosi too; she’s part of the mess that got us here

  16. I never understood calling the rich stealing from the poor Robin Hood in reverse.. that’s actually just the story of Robin Hood..

Corrupt ruler/king steals from the poor so Robin is justified in fighting back and reclaiming the shared wealth for all..

Who will be our Robin Hood with the bravery, skills and cunning to pull it off?

  17. What’s her next step? Write a strongly worded letter, wag her finger in disapproval or elect another old ass motherfucker with 13 secs of life left?

    This bitch is fucking useless.

  18. She is part of the reason we are in this mess. We know the fucking situation. Is she going to do anything about it?

  19. Fuck off, Nancy. Maybe pushing dead guys into positions of power instead of young popular capable candidates has something to do with it. Let’s also not pretend you had nothing to do with Hilary failing starting this hole ball rolling.

You are the rest of the centrist need to fuck off, stop placating the criminal in chief, and stop losing us elections.

  20. The Democrats are in deep fucking shit, I don’t know how to say it in a nicer way. The Groyper party has taken over America and I fear it will be a long fight.

  21. And she would know, she went to high school with Maid Marian in 1263
