  1. And you can definitely trust Putin to follow through on his promises… 🙄

  2. Now you see why it is important that Russia will not get in their hands 30 million nation, for their propaganda machine raising Ukrainian kids?

  3. “We attack you when we say we wouldn’t. But trust me, you kill your countrymen we will totally give you good spot in our new territory. Trust me.”

FFS what timeline are we in…

  4. So much for all the peace talks 🙄 I wish the world would see it for what it is and stop wasting time.

  5. Considering how traitorous US can be, Ukraine might as well give up and align with Russia in exchange for it’s integrity and peace

  6. Sounds like Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker… what a joke!

  7. The plan was to get Ukraine and Belarus to attack other countries and absorb the blowback and be the scapegoat for Russia which is what Donbas was with fake republic

  8. Join them and be on the very front of the next meat-wave charge

  9. I can’t even imagine what goes through the mind of a captured soldier, or what kind of pressure they’re under.
But after another sleepless night in Kyiv—listening to dozens of drones overhead, not knowing if one is headed for your building—you start to live in a constant state of uncertainty and exhaustion.

This is the fourth year. We’ve been receiving support—enough to survive, but not enough to push Russian forces out. And meanwhile, I read how many in Europe feel reassured that “Russia is stuck in Ukraine,” as if that somehow makes them safe. Business with Russia continues. Visas are still granted. It’s entirely possible that someone who’s served in the Russian military is relaxing somewhere in Europe right now.

Things that once shocked the world—executions of POWs, kidnapped children, large-scale environmental destruction—are now met with silence. People have gotten used to it.

Sometimes I wonder: if Ukraine is fully occupied, what happens next? We don’t want to leave, but what choice would people have? Would there be another wave of refugees? Or worse? These are questions that hang in the air when the world starts to look away

  10. Giving them the fucking Darth Vader dark side offer.

“Join me, and together we can rule europe as dictator and subject”

  11. This is a *striking* view into the Russian psyche. They’re desperately trying to lure Ukrainians to fight for them, and the Russians are using, in their mind – the most logical and desirable arguments that the Russians think would entice anyone to join.

They are completely oblivious to the mentality of the western people, that we have *no* desire to invade anyone – they truly feel that conquering other nations is so fulfilling, that such a proposition is the most enticing of them all.

    Truly a bizzare culture.

  12. That’s another war crime Russia is committing; forcing prisoners of war (POWs) to fight is a grave violation of international law and constitutes a war crime.

The Geneva Conventions explicitly protect POWs, and it is illegal to use them as combatants.

  13. Hahaha, good idea! The Russian delusion really gets to a new level.

Europe had never been interested in waging war on anybody. It has been constructed to avoid it. But let it be clear to “any” agressor, our union is our force. We will defend Europe against any foreign or domestic enemies.

So yes, “know one’s enemy”. Set foot on our territories with the wrong intent and we will crush the hell out of you, or go down fighting. Let it be a warning that your losses will throw you back to the dark ages.

  14. But they have the gall to say that we are the real threat here.

  15. Yes, because a europe that operates like russia is definitely better than current europe.
Outside of being able to abuse civilians to their hearts content, they would still be treated as cannon fodder as the oligarchs take everything for themselves.

Of course, none of this is worth talking about, since russia would get unexisted with a decapitation strike the second they start open war with europe, and everyone, except the most delusional tankies, knows this.

  16. It has taken them three years and a zillion people to *still* not take over poor, underdeveloped Ukraine. This isn’t exactly the blitzkrieg.

Russia is not going to be occupying Europe.

    EDIT: 11 years. Even worse.

  17. Oh it’s Europe now, is it? Oh Poland, you’re up.

  18. Time to offer our European allies nukes. Its the only deterrent

  19. Russia says that because they know Donny Krasnov very well.

  20. If I hear claims of a former Ukrainian POW switching sides, I’ll be assuming that they were forced to do so until proven otherwise. I also bet that they’ll be deliberately put into the most dangerous positions

  21. I just came here because the thumbnail looked like a hyppo wearing a hoodie 🙁

  22. From enemies to lovers.

“Ukraine, this isn’t like you, let’s fight Europe…. TOGETHER!”

Will someone tell Putin that this isn’t a movie?

  23. And Russia has so much to offer that people there don’t want to have children anymore. (Or wait, wasn’t it Harry Potter’s fault?)

  24. The ruzke terrorists use a tactics of their ancestors (the horde) to turn the conquered people into yanychar – the traitors of their own folk. That‘s why the abominable misunderstanding called „ruzzia“ should stop existing

  25. Imagine being tortured and castrated by some vatnik and then he thinks you’ll want to be on his side

  26. Something tells me that’s probably an offer they can’t refuse.

  27. There is this saying in Greek that roughly translates to this:

“While treachery itself may be loved by many, nobody (neither side) loves the traitor.”

  28. Every European country needs nukes now they need to pay the price if they want Europe so badly

  29. Sounds like russian bullshit to constrain EU funds and isolate Ukraine.

  30. We all know that happens to people who flips side, in the end russia will kill them.
