Moto3 World Championship leader, Jose Antonio Rueda, will start from pole position at the British Grand Prix.

Jose Antonio Rueda was able to secure his second pole position of the season as he claimed the position by 01.07 seconds as the rain started to fall at Silverstone.

The Red Bull KTM Ajo squad claimed a 1-2 grid slot for the British Grand Prix as Moto3 rookie, Alvaro Carpe, qualified in second place.

Angel Piqueras looked to be impeded by Rueda towards the end of the session, but he still managed a third-place qualifying position.

The top Honda on the Moto3 grid was David Almansa on the Leopard Racing machine, the Spaniard will start from fourth place on the grid.

Joe Kelso’s run of successive front row starts came to an end at the British Grand Prix as he qualified in the middle of the second row in fifth place.

Moto3 rookie, Maximo Quiles, will start from the back of the second row as he qualified in sixth place on the CFMoto Aspar machine.

The second Honda inside the top ten was Luca Lunetta on the SIC58 Squadra Corse machine, the Italian will start the British Grand Prix from the front of the third row in seventh.

David Munoz will start from eighth place on the grid on the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP machine.

The third Red Bull KTM rider inside the top ten was Valentin Perrone, who qualified in ninth on the Tech3 machine.

Completing the top ten was Moto3 veteran, Dennis Foggia, on the CFMoto Aspar machine.

Scott Ogden was in the second Qualifying session, but did not qualify in the top ten, he will start his home Grand Prix from 16th.

Neither British riders Eddie O’Shea nor Max Cook made it out of the first Qualifying session as they qualified in 25th and 26th places.
