Anna Dulce won the silver medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Youth World Cup in Germany. The representative of the Republic of Moldova reached the podium after a solid performance, which earned her second place in the final standings, IPN reports.
With a score of 572 points, Anna Dulce placed third in the qualifying heats of the competition, in which 80 athletes participated. Her performance secured her a place in the final round, where she scored 237.3 points. She was only beaten at this stage by Kanak Kanak from India, while Yen-Ching Cheng from Taiwan finished third.
Anna Dulce is trained by the coach Oleg Moldovan, vice Olympic champion. The next competition for the Moldovan athlete will be the Senior World Championships in Munich.
Throughout her career, Anna Dulce has represented Moldova at numerous international competitions. At the age of 15 she participated in the Tokyo Olympics and in 2021 she set a national record and qualified for the Olympics. In the following years she achieved important results, including a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships and gold at the 2024 European Championships. She placed 28th at the Paris Olympics.
