> Disability equality charity Scope today slammed the cut as “bitterly disappointing” and showing “total disregard” for the needs of disabled people, who they warn are the “hardest hit” by fuel poverty and face “sky high” energy bills.
Con +3
Because we threw EU disability rights in the bin.
Is it done yet?
Ableism is rarely discussed. I wonder when the government’s actions cross that line and if society would or does care.
WTF Boris?? Get your act together or I’m going to comb your hair, mop top.
The shock..
Who would of guessed after a decade of the Tories actively doing all they can to make life for disabled people ridiculously difficult they do nothing to help now….
PIP isn’t means tested at all, it is a payment you get because you are disabled, regardless of savings or income. What are we saying here, nobody who is disabled could possibly be capable of earning a decent wage?
Don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt that this has been done with the worst intentions by the government. But can we avoid writing off all disabled people as being totally incapable of providing for themselves?
