I can't even recall where I heard about this place, it might have been on here.

Had a visit today. It's just a small space, but they have a 1:2000 3-D map of London, and a separate 1:500 of what they called the City of London (the final image has their description of that part of the display).

When we got there there was a plummy chap leading group who was expressively expressing that "no one even knows about this place". That sounded a bit extra, but maybe wasn't terribly incorrect.

Very nice for a short visit, and when you leave you're not far from Old Spitalfields Market or Brick Lane if you want food. Also highly recommend Basils sandwich place near Bank, no seats, but very good sandwiches

I think Reddit makes my photos potato, but imgurr should offer some higher res version here: https://imgur.com/a/eSt2j37

[The higher resolition won't fix my bad photos, but at least you'll be able to more usefully zoom on my better ones]

  1. Do they keep it up-to-date with new builds and demolitions?

  2. It was kinda sad to do on a weekend, but yes, I looked up my own place of work.
