Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading a parliamentary delegation under Operation Sindoor outreach, praised India’s strikes on Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir terror camps and said India “hit hard and smart”.
During an interaction at the Indian Consulate in New York, Tharoor said, “I don’t work for the government, as you know. I work for an opposition party. I myself authored an op-ed saying the time has come to hit hard but hit smart. I’m pleased to say that’s exactly what India did.”
He added that India, on May 7, carried out “very precise and calibrated strikes”, targeting “nine specific known terrorist bases, headquarters, and launchpads” in Pakistan and PoK.
