1. Does this tell us anything about “The American Dream?” To me it is more telling that an old lady with a medical issue can still work to support herself. Most boomers failed to save a single penny for retirement? Are we all supposed to suffer because people didn’t prepare for the future?

2. The strange thing is she probably voted for her own suffering by voting for The Felon President and his selfish lawless fascist Republicans!

4. What’s really unfortunate is that this poor woman doesn’t know that she’s been the subject of several posts on the internet pitying her. We don’t know anything about her situation or what happened in this moment. But we love to create a narrative that fits our views.

10. Make good decisions when you’re young. Dont smoke, limit your drinking, and find a job/career(s) with benefits and retirement options. This is the American dream… its the opportunity for a better life, not a guarantee

11. Ironically it was probably a Trump voter. Thought he would help business and workers!
