This charming terrace house in Brixton was a joy to draw. I loved capturing the intricate detailing around the entrance and the bay window!

Something new in my recent drawings is the addition of context around the building or house I’m focusing on. In this piece, I left the surroundings unshaded, using only line work to hint at the context. This approach keeps the focus on the main subject while grounding it within the city. This is an idea I’m excited to develop further in future drawings, as it makes the artwork feel less "floaty" and more connected to its surroundings.

  1. This project is cool as hell, you’re incredibly talented! I love London

  2. It seems like every 0.000001% gets another spam post on r/london.

  3. In Brixton, the majority of these houses have been converted into three flats. Brixton experienced the most significant year-on-year increase in property prices in London, reaching a staggering 300%.
