Let’s go! I was 16 when I travelled to Poland, without knowing much of their culture.
I then got drunk with Polish students on the beach in Gdynia and learnt the words “kurwa” and “rakija”! Then I saw how similar we are.
Good luck with the elections poles! Romania stands with you!
Heart warming and envious at the same time. Romania came so close to become Hungary. Poland took the same route for a while but turned back. Hopefully Hungary will rejoin the club with Peter Magyar and we build a better world together.
Root for us at next year’s election! Seems like our last chance.

The most amazing thing about Nicusor Dan’s election is that his voters were able to come on top from between two extremes: the russian pressure from Kremlin direction, and the russian pressure from Washington (a.k.a. MAGA).

shit like faked photos, faked documents, claims that army will be sent to the front line in Ukraine , claims that Macron and Soros is behind the candidate, claims that 4 years old children will be teach to masturbate in kindergarten…
This kind of absurd missinformation worked in Romania on too many people.
And the nationalist candidate used some ridiculous promises like
“we will reopen the factories, we will reopen the mines, we will give you houses at 1 Euro ” , too many people belives this promises also .
