    > Scores of staffers at the White House National Security Council were abruptly dismissed Friday, as the Trump administration moved to dramatically downsize the coordinating body, according to people familiar with the matter.

    >The staff sent home included both career officials who were detailed to the NSC and some political appointees, these people said.

Timed for Friday night before a long weekend to avoid scrutiny.

  2. We’ve seen this play before. Mass dismissals at the NSC are a clear sign of an administration prioritizing unwavering loyalty above all else. This isn’t just inefficient, it actively undermines our national security by sidelining experts for political convenience. This pattern is deeply concerning for anyone who cares about a stable and well informed foreign policy.

  3. So we lose a life or two, the Oval Office needs more gilding.

  4. He can’t undermine national security as easily when people are watching.

  5. IDK if i would be wiping out all these folks that are supposed to keep our electeds safe. The bad guys only have to get lucky once.

Be a shame if anyone is listening.

  6. You’d be a fool to be involved with the current administration. They would purposely put you In harm’s way.

  7. NONE of these people have any actual dirt on Trump!?

  8. He’s already demonstrated that Putin is the only intel he needs. Everything else would just be wasteful

  9. Who cares about Security? Trump wants to be told he looks like the best version of Chester Cheeto each day. This is the worst timeline

  10. Friday night massacres really have become a Republican tradition.

  11. I’m not and never would imply but I’m still thinking it if I’m outside looking in … Are they not setting us up for a major non natural disaster type event?

  12. I’m sure nothing bad will happen like a terrorist attack.

  13. One conspiracy theory: open the doors for some national security failure so trump can issue a national emergency declaration and cancel elections (which Republicans are going to lose in 2026).

  14. Will make him less able to execute his madness. Gutting his own infrastructure is more than just eliminating people who disagree with you- it’s expertise, connections and experience. It’s hands to do the actual work. You don’t just make a declaration and sign it and it appears out of thin air. This is him, once again, shooting himself in his own foot. Sadly it has repercussions for us all.

  15. Who needs National security when you can put Russians in charge
