Hi all! I posted a few days ago but now that I am back in Canada, I have much more to show and tell!
My trip went amazing. I visited Vilnius, Kaunas, Anykščiai and Šiauliai. We drove through a few towns as well to get to these destinations. No matter where I went, I was surrounded by the most beautiful architecture. It is true, you won’t find this in Canada. We don’t have cemeteries or churches like yours. Lithuania was my first out of country trip, and it was the best choice I made. Though I got many stares, I also met locals that were friendly and asked where I am from. I must say, the pizza is out of this world there. There is a sauce that goes with it, you can get it in 3 colours I believe and I chose the yellow one. I have never spread sauce all over my pizza and gobbled it down so viciously. In fact I had to go back there twice before I left. We stayed at his grandmothers apartment, and her food is out of this world. I can’t help but brag, I’ve never tasted such traditional food before. I politely grabbed a few recipes to attempt to make at home! We also went exploring to an abandoned prison and school, this was quite the experience. I went go karting, saw a few historic castles and even took a swim in one of the nearby rivers ( couldn’t help myself, sorry! ). I even got to see an upside down house, this was one of the coolest pieces of architecture I saw. I didn’t go inside as it was closed at the time I went.
Thank you for the best memory I will never forget, Lithuania 🇱🇹

Wow! Beautiful photos, could I ask where the 9th photo was taken? The park looks amazing.
No need to be sorry, swimming in river here officially makes you Lithuanian 🙂
