  14. I've crossed the US border hundreds of times. While majority of the time I've been met with professional, courteous behavior, i had a few on a power trip. This is nothing new. As far as 20 years ago i was taken into secondary search, and my laptop was almost confiscated for no reason other than they wanted to search my hard drive to look for God knows what. I just thought that was an overreach. My sister was detained simply for crossing into the usa to pick up s family friend landing in the usa. We live by the border so it just made things easier. Even though she crossed everyday for work without problems, all of a sudden she was flagged for no reason whatsoever. The US border service, just like any institution, will have f*****g a*******s working for them. To end up in a detention center without any cause or explanation is beyond f******g ridiculous. US border service should apologize and deal with the agent responsible for this situation.

  20. Trump admin is no longer arresting and charging people, since that requires the admin to take the person to court, and let the judge decide the case. Instead they are calling their procedure as the person is being "detained" rather than "arrested", and since there's "no charge" for doing anything wrong, they can just deport immediately somewhere, avoiding all court appearances. They are really not interested in crime, the intention is to refuse entry or deport all "undesirable" people. What makes a person fit the "undesirable" category? Well, all we have to go by is the "appearance" of the individuals being refused entry and deported, since the admin will not say "why."
