  10. It’s because this thing (not a person thats for sure) believes appeasing Russia means he’ll get the mineral deal equivalent out of Russia and in turn, turn Russia against China. He already got the mineral deal from Ukraine so best believe from his POV whatever outcome is fine. Ukraine survives? mineral deal continues. Ukraine ceases to exist or loses access to much of its resources? Then Russia has them and Trump will try to make a deal with them.

    Keep in mind this thing (heavy emphasis on thing) sees foreign policy as a business. If he can make money from it then it’s good and if the other side makes more money than him then it’s bad. But he’s also super easy to manipulate and he’s not even a good businessman. Long way until 2028 and so far it seems like the Americans actually don’t give a fuck for their constitution so maybe longer than 2028. Unlucky.

  17. The only “kompromat” that would actually work on Trump is the receipts for the cash Russia bailed him out with in the 80s and 90s – that stuff is actually prove-able and would show Trump up as a bankrupt AND a traitor.

    …there’s no doubt at this point that Trump is compromised by Russia – his behaviour is in total lockstep with Putin.

  25. Maybe I’m the slow one in class but, like… “denounces U.S. silence” like… what does that even mean? “Hey, you over there, why aren’t you SAYING anything? Huh? SAY something, these people we’ve been at war with for a while now, did a thing, SAY something!” wtf do they want us to do/say and why is it us that has to not be silent.

    Was Mexico not silent? Was Canada? Was Botswana not silent? New Zealand? Is New Zealand not screaming their head off about this russian drone and missile attack during a war with Russia?

    What is the actual expectation here? We all know Trump is president right? Do we REALLY expect anything consequential to come from the US in regards to this? If so, maybe that’s more telling about your ability to manage expectations than our ability to meet them.

  31. I called it. Either silence at worst or fake condolences at best with no action. The God King eased sanctions on Putin, which allowed this shit to happen. The blood of both Ukrainian and Palestinian children are on his hands.
