  16. It’s not surprising, unfortunately. Russia’s military position has become untenable to the point where the only way they can force soldiers to do things like meatwave assaults is to give them very brutal options for disobeying orders to go die. See Wagner and sledgehammers.

    It’s also the reason Russian command is ordering Ukranian POW’s to be executed. It’s not about the POW’s, it’s to make their own meatwave troops afraid of surrendering to the Ukrainians for fear of the same happening to them.
