  1. That’s a shame. So what are everyone’s plans for tomorrow?

  2. I’m clearly out of the loop, why do people hate this guy?

  3. Duck Dynasty feels like one of the most 2014 things ever; while simultaneously being a prelude to the world we currently live in. Will the reboot reenter public consciousness, who knows, but it sure is rare to see any reality TV show this decade hit the cultural zeitgeist the way they used to be able to in the early 2010s.

  4. Yawwwwnn….. old redneck dies…. I’m taking my dog for a nice walk

  5. His biggest regret would be he won’t be able to profit from the mini culture war that will break out over his death.

  6. The world’s average intelligence is a little higher now

  7. Pride month and Juneteenth are coming up. You could let the world know where he’s being buried so gay and/or black people could at least piss on his grave.

  8. He’s about to find out there’s no separate sections where he’s going. Just one big ol mixing pot.

  9. Oh no….a redneck cosplayer who had shit morals is dead 😶

  10. Pretty sure their whole gimmick was fake, in reality they’re well off and unlike their tv personality

  11. He was one of those people who acted holier than thou, even though he was a complete and total fuck up in his earlier life.

  12. The producer of Duck Dynasty is promoting to DHS the reality show of immigrants trying for citizenship. All scum on the pond.

  13. I just saw him on an air conditioning commercial this morning and thought he had already passed.

  14. No one cares. He and his family are religious clowns.

  15. Are you sure, or did he fake it, like he did when he faked being a redneck for his TV show instead of the clean shaven country club clown he was his entire life?

  16. He lived 79 years too long. Just another hate filled, racist, bigoted, prick. The world is better off without him.

  17. If anyone here actually read his autobiography, they would learn that Phil was never shy about his admitting his transgressions. When his sons were still young, he taught high school, quit that job, and opened a bar. He was an alcoholic, drug user, and verbal abuser. Then his wife Kay left him. She found a job, rented a home for her and their boys, and was doing very well for herself. When Phil started to come to his senses, Kay asked her pastor to talk with him. The conversation that Phil had with the pastor changed his life forever.

Most people here on reddit don’t believe in forgiveness and reconciliation. But I’m telling you it’s an absolute miracle that Phil Robertson’s family has made the cultural impact they have. When one man takes a step in the right direction away from a drunken stupor, God will give him a purpose that no one else can imagine. I’m praying his family has some peace, knowing Phil did his best to share his testimony of what God did for him and many others.

  18. Is he the one that talked about a dude’s pink butthole?

  19. Not everyone agrees with his beliefs but he seemed like a good family man , rip
