    “He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever,” Trump said.

    “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”

    “Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does,” Trump said.

    “Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop.”

    Trump campaigned on a vow to end the war, which he has repeatedly said would never have started if he had been president.

    He returned to that theme at the end of his statement on Truth Social.

    “This is a War that would never have started if I were President. This is Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s, and Biden’s War, not ‘Trump’s,’ I am only helping to put out the big and ugly fires, that have been started through Gross Incompetence and Hatred.”

    This dipshit is seriously going to try to take credit for finally recognizing that Putin wants to steal all of Ukraine, as though that wasn’t completely obvious to the rest of us from the start.

  35. Trump is just throwing some acting trying to make us believe he is not in bed with Russia. His last action (from a long list of actions favourable to Putin) is to pull away from any peace talk with Ukraine. Next, Trump will slam NATO’s door as soon as NATO will be summoned by a Russian agression.

  37. There’s something else going on here. Putin is about to do or say something revealing about the orange creep, so the creep is going for preemptive image control.

    He doesn’t give a crap about citizens on either side dying, never has. His critical statement about Putin is some sort of damage control.

  39. Putin isn’t crazy. Putin is power-hungry. Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet Union, one EU country at a time. Then he’d like to take over the rest of the EU, then the world. Won’t happen though.

    What I believe really drives Putin is fear; fear for his own life. When he attacked Ukraine, he went all-in, and that was the only way it could’ve happened. He knows if he fails to take Ukraine, his life isn’t worth a plug nickel, the Oligarchs will see to it that he ‘tragically falls out a high window’ or ‘suffers a tragic fatal illness’ *and dies*.

    That all being said: Putin is a dead man walking. The U.S. may be compromised, but even without the U.S., the rest of the EU, especially the other NATO countries, will *not* allow Russia to succeed, because they *know* they’re next if he does. In a way, it’s all a kick in the pants to NATO that perhaps it needed, because now they’re ramping up production of ordnance and other war-related materiel so they can support Ukraine against Russia.

    One final note: Putin is also a deadman if he tries to order a nuclear strike. It is my belief that his own people will stop him, because only a madman actually uses even a teeny tiny little tactical nuke; the rest of the world would pounce on Russia, and there likely wouldn’t *be* a Russia anymore after that.

    With the EU’s help Ukraine will prevail. It’s just a matter of time.
