The true story behind London’s worst-rated restaurant People go for a monstrosity. I found an outdated café, an internet smear campaign, and a man with a fascinating story to tell.

So some little cunts have made it a point of getting this guys business closed down by making false reviews on Trip adviser. How aren’t the reviews vetted better, as the article said, some were during Covid when it was closed, so clearly made up. I hope this article encourages people to go, if I was in London I’d stroll there now
I’ve seen some of the videos online, the food looks awful and the woman is extremely rude, fish and chips are microwaved etc, spaghetti is all watery.
The article is from 2022, I wonder how it’s doing now?
Being subject to fake reviews is awful for a hospitality business and TripAdvisor should do more to stop this.
But let’s not kid ourselves, cafes like this make overpriced microwave cooked garbage. They make crap, don’t invest in the company for 30 years, then bemoan their demise
Go watch some of the video reviews. Seriously, [this](https://youtu.be/pk0laKGAewA?si=N1l9Gd5uqs1HnygV) isn’t a restaurant that just got a trolled by kids.
Since the article is 3 years old. The Palace Restaurant is still open, it’s currently open today. It’s still getting bad reviews on tripadvisor and google and from the reviews its obviously still run by Alan and his sister in law.
